3. Quotes & Pricing

  • Estimates: Quotes provided via our website, phone, or email are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing is confirmed upon completion of an in-person or virtual inventory assessment.

  • Binding Quotes: A written binding quote, once accepted and signed by both parties, constitutes a firm price for the listed services and inventory.

  • Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply for stairs, elevators, long carries, additional items not listed in the original inventory, extended wait times, storage, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and other methods listed on your invoice.

4. Booking, Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Booking Confirmation: A move is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from us and any required deposit is paid.

  • Cancellation — 72+ Hours Notice: Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the scheduled move date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

  • Cancellation — Less Than 72 Hours: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled move may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover scheduling and labor costs.

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your move at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability. Rescheduling within 48 hours may incur a fee.

  • Company Cancellation: In the unlikely event we must cancel your move due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., severe weather, equipment failure), we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund of any deposit.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and efficient move, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the inventory, origin, and destination addresses
  • Ensure all items are accessible and ready for loading at the agreed start time
  • Disclose any fragile, high-value, or hazardous items prior to the move
  • Obtain necessary permissions (e.g., elevator reservations, parking permits) at both locations
  • Ensure a responsible adult is present throughout the duration of the move
  • Remove or secure pets and children during the loading and unloading process

6. Liability & Damage Claims

  • Released Value Protection: By default, our liability for damaged or lost items is limited to $0.60 per pound per article as required by federal and state law, unless additional valuation coverage is purchased.

  • Full Value Protection: Optional full value protection coverage is available for purchase. Details will be provided in your service agreement.

  • Items Not Covered: We are not liable for damage to items packed by the customer (PBO), pre-existing damage, items of extraordinary value (jewelry, cash, important documents, antiques) unless specifically declared and insured, or damage caused by acts of God.

  • Filing a Claim: All damage claims must be reported in writing within 9 months of the delivery date. Claims submitted after this period will not be honored.

  • Maximum Liability: Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the specific item(s) damaged or lost, up to the limits set in your service agreement.
